Graham Pirt

Graham started singing in folk clubs in the early 1960's. At that time he was known as a solo singer although he also performed with Alistair Anderson. Graham joined Cockersdale in 1987 and the group remained a foursome until the untimely death of Keith Marsden in 1991. Graham now writes some of the songs that Cockersdale sing and provides most of the harmonies with Val while John provides the tune.
Graham still sings as a solo performer, runs song and voice workshops at songshop and also performs with his son Sam who is a mean accordion player.
